Ask GENAI to give you a better set of questions

Be conversational, you can ask to collaborate and guide you through. You can think of the conversation like a fishbone. Travel down a path and get more and more in depth.

Example: I want to create a playbook on Project Management and Business Analysis. How can you help me?

Teach the GenAI to think for you

Start with a

TASK {text} then use

THINK {text} -> ACTION {text} -> RESULT {text} iteratively

Then pose the question

Example:

This is how I want you to think.I will give you TASK {text} then use THINK {text} -> ACTION {text} -> RESULT {text}

Recipe Pattern

To use this pattern, your prompt should make the following fundamental contextual statements:

Alternative approaches …

Ask tool to write a several prompt based on pros or cons

If there are alternative ways to accomplish a task X that I give you, list the best alternate approaches

(Optional) compare/contrast the pros and cons of each approach

(Optional) include the original way that I asked

(Optional) prompt me for which approach I would like to use

For every prompt I give you, If there are alternative ways to word a prompt that I give you, list the best alternate wordings . Compare/contrast the pros and cons of each wording.

For anything that I ask you to write, determine the underlying problem that I am trying to solve and how I am trying to solve it. Outline expansion pattern

act as an outline expander. generate a bullet point outline based on the input that I give you and ask me for which bullet point you should expand on. create a new outline for the bullet point that I select. at the end ask me what bullet point to expand next. ask me for what to outline. - Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT course

Automate GenAI

Take each of these elements and save as a single Google doc file

Example:

Create a document to be used for input on a specific project.
Create a document with a well defined GenAI prompt.

E.g. Act as a project manager onboarding a new junior business analyst. Create a playbook for business analysis stakeholder engagement so that the new junior business analyst can use this to plan for this activity.

Use an automation tool such as Make.com or Zapier and OpenAI to take the first documents (document to be used for input) and the second document (GenAI prompt) to create the output of the GenAI

Use make.com. And use these settings to automate taking the input document and the well defined GenAI prompt to output to the playbook to a third document. Set the automation on a schedule.
